Dinitha Vithanage
Dinitha Vithanage is a Sri Lankan-born filmmaker, film composer, and musician based in Toronto. He graduated from the University of Toronto Scarborough with a degree in Human Biology & Music and Culture, where he won the Abram Krashinsky Prize in Music. Dinitha has composed for films, documentaries, and commercials, including for New Balance, and is pursuing a Master’s in Music Technology and Digital Media at the University of Toronto. His short film For a Coffin Full of Gold won Best Director and Best Drama at the 20th University of Toronto Film Festival, and his debut feature, Midnight Boulevard, is currently on the festival circuit. Dinitha aims to further his craft in genre filmmaking and visual media composition through collaborative projects with like-minded artists.
